The use of Artemisia's voice-over to describe a body in action is repeated in the scene where Artemisia finishes painting her Judith." The scene also involves candlelight and gold tones. Artemisia may already be describing her Judith here. Her words do not make sense as a description of her drawings of herself that we see her making shortly. Notice the focus on body parts in both this scene and the Judith scene. The use of a female voice-over is also very noteworthy as the voice-over is conventionally male.
